SALON CANCELLATION AND LATENESS POLICY

 

If you must cancel or re-book your appointment, we respectfully request you do so as soon as possible, at least 2 hours prior to your booking.

 

Please note that if you are over 4 minutes late for your appointment we may have to reschedule your service if it cannot be completed in the remaining time frame. All attempts to reschedule in a timely manner will be made.

 

We value your time and feel that it is fair to honour the same policies we hold to all of our clients. Should we need to cancel on a client due to unsafe weather conditions, power outages or other unforeseen events with less than 24 hours notice, we will do all we can to reschedule your appointment in a timely manner.

Why do we collect personal data?


We will use personal data firstly to fulfil any contractual obligations that exist between us and yourself; where we request personal data be provided to meet the terms of any such contract you will be required to provide the relevant personal data or we will not be able to deliver the goods and/or services you want. In such cases the lawful basis of us processing the personal data is that it is necessary for the performance of a contract.

We may also process your personal data in accordance with our legitimate business interests; this is on the considered measure that we need the personal data to achieve the various purposes and that it could be reasonable for an individual to expect their data to be used for those purposes.

We will keep your personal data only for as long as required in order to achieve the purposes for which it was gathered, in line with this privacy notice.

 

For determining when personal data should be erased we shall take into consideration the amount of and sensitivity of the personal data we have, the amount of harm that could be caused by a data breach, the benefits of the purposes the data is being used for any legal requirements that we are bound to.

You may request that we erase your personal data at anytime, though in cases where there is a remaining relevant or legal reason why we are required to keep the data we may opt to restrict the amount of processing being conducted to what is absolute necessary in line with your legal rights in order to minimise the impact the processing will have.

Where the lawful basis of our processing is based on protection of vital interests and insofar any relevant health and safety obligations apply, Beach House Tanning will retain your personal data for 40 years.

Terms and Conditions:
 

REFUNDS

  • Refunds are only available for medical conditions upon receipt of a valid medical certificate. All requests must be in writing or via email.

 

PAYMENT

  • We accept cash and all major credit and debit cards. We apologise but we do not accept checks.

 

EXPIRATION OF GIFT CARDS, SESSIONS AND MINUTES

  • Expiration of gift cards, courses and sessions are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

 

CLIENT LOTION STORAGE

  • We cannot be held responsible for customer lotion storage facility.

 

LOSS OR DAMAGE FOR CLIENT PROPERTY

  • Please note that Beach house tanning shop cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to clients property whilst on the premises.

 

UNLIMITED SUNBEDS

  • The course starts on a day of purchase and lasts 31 days

  • Maximum 12 minutes per day

  • Maximum 1 visit per day

  • Only to be used by the purchaser
